An Essex Labour councillor telling Sunderland who speaks for Sunderland is quite something.

In May, Sunderland had an all-out election. We won 58 of 75 seats and over 100,000 votes. That is the democratic mandate.

And this wasn’t a vote against tackling racism. It was a question on council backing and potential funding for an organisation who regularly attends Labour conference and described our party as "a very, very dangerous organisation".

Maybe leave Sunderland’s politics to Sunderland. As you’re certainly crumbling electorally in Basildon thanks to @ReformUKSam and his team.

Hi James, thanks for the message and glad you enjoy the show. I think we have always been very complimentary about Arsenal and defended them a lot last season but - and you will know this - we also poke fun at pretty much everyone and are critical of individuals sometimes too. We were pretty much all in agreement on Arteta complaining about referees too much. I think Arsenal are a great side and he’s proven to be a great manager. Doesn’t mean he escapes criticism though.
