Now that "Moses and the Doctor" is available everywhere books are sold, here's how you can get a signed copy: Order through Astoria Bookshop (link below), or send me a request for a signed bookplate (my email is in my bio). I'll mail you one free. It's that simple.
A long-time writer from Sports Illustrated reached out about my book and told me a story about Julius Erving that was revealing that I almost want to contact my publishing house and beg for a revised edition.
Maria Bartiromo: "I mean, the president is expressing optimism about a potential deal with Iran. He said yesterday an agreement could come as soon as this weekend." ๐๐๐
When I was deep into editing "Moses and the Doctor," I didn't have the bandwidth for reading much else, so I turned to classic graphic novels. "Persepolis" was my favorite, a deeply personal work that taught me more about the Iranian Revolution than the news ever could. RIP.

This was a passage from "Moses and the Doctor," revolving around a quote that 76ers backup center Earl Cureton gave me. I spoke to Cureton three months before he passed. Beating the Celtics was so important to the 76ers after what happened in 1981. Then the Lakers killed them.
Even though my wife is from San Antonio and I have never, ever rooted for a team from New York City in my life, I'm taking the Knicks in six. Like the Philadelphia 76ers in 1982, when the beat the Celtics in 7, the Spurs might suffer a slight letdown in the Finals.
It's wild that we have a president who refers to the governor of the most populous state as "Newscum" and everyone in his party is just fine with that behavior. They've just completely ceded the idea that a person in that position of power should act dignified or morally.
