@BHawkCowboy@Robber_Baron6 Thank god someone else said it! If the rebuild doesn’t pan out, the 2024 draft will be the reason. Not just Lev over Dem, but the entire 1st round! Could argue Moore over Perreault too and with all the high picks they couldn’t take a swing on either Hutson?? Gut the scouting dept
@Leegrasemann The way it isn’t even close😂 I like Reid and Malhotra for other reasons but A) Stenberg is doing it at a higher level/against men. Malhotra is playing with multiple past 1st rounders. Carels is the only one that scares me. He might look good but the WHL is such a weak league
@swehockeytalent@OviClapBomb You could’ve said the same about Leo and Fantilli 10 games into their career but after 3 years people seem to be coming to conclusions about who’s better
@Deepdishsports7 A great skating LHD with high point totals in the WHL sounds a lot like Kevin Korchinski. I’m no scout though. What are the differences in their games? Because I don’t think we need KK 2.0
@BarstoolChief I think this is a reasonable take but I would not want Matthews and would pay the bigger price for Knies. Even if we couldn’t get Knies, I’m still not taking Matthews
@Matapumo@JorgeGuapo22 Ducks also couldn’t make it work with Zegras and let him go. He seems to be doing just fine with Philly. Could it just be how the team is handling him?
@Leegrasemann If he won’t resign I’m not trading for him just to get a year and a half and lose him to FA
But I do like Silayev from Jersey if Quinn will be their 1LD for the next 8 years. #10 OA pick in 24, 6’7”, great skater, physical and can be the Defensive D to Lev’s Offensive D style
@TheProspectDon Potentially hot take: Bedard is a winger long term/on a contending team. Frondell has looked better on the wing too this season. I think our biggest hole is/will be a true 1C
@HawkHockey11@RinksideGeneral Yeah I like his game. Like the size, speed, and defensive engagement, but at 31 years old and with a plethora of young talent that’ll be pushing for bottom 6 roles in the next year or two, he’s a trade candidate at the deadline for me
i built a tool that allows me to clone the brain of any youtuber…
i used it on alex hormozi so i can ask him business questions at 3am and get answers word-for-word like he'd give them
works with anyone: gary vee, naval, graham stephan, any creator in your niche
i put together:
- the tool that uploads entire channels automatically
- my 5-minute setup process
- prompt framework for answers that match their exact style
RT + reply 'MENTOR' and i'll send you everything (must follow so i can dm)
@TheProspectDon Compete is probably the biggest (it’s a broad term), but physicality, pace, and how quickly they break the puck out. They’re so dangerous in transition.
@Pete___Hughes I've had all the same thoughts! Frame (Bedard got bullied in the NHL at 5-10 185 - he's 20 lbs lighter), lack of production in WJC and NCAA
The real story may be how much better of a league the NCAA is than the CHL if a "generational talent" loses his shine after making the jump
@TeacherJEvan It’s a short term win but long term L for the Hawks. Why bring in a short term impact player? It doesn’t make the Hawks a playoff team, but it does significantly decrease the odds we land a top tier talent for the next decade in next year’s draft.
