Free agent WR Alec Pierce has agreed to terms to remain in Indianapolis on a historic 4 year $114M deal that will make him the highest paid free agent receiver in NFL History.
The deal negotiated by agents Mike Swenson and CJ LaBoy, came together overnight and contains $84m in guarantees, $60m fully guaranteed at signing, and a max package of $116M.

Rick Carlisle on Pacers' $100K fine for violating the Player Participation Policy:
"During the interview (with the NBA), they also asked if we considered medicating (Aaron Nesmith) to play in a game when we were 30 games under .500."
Carlisle said that Nesmith could not hold onto a basketball but the NBA "unilaterally decided" he should have played in the game in question, without talking to Nesmith or Pacers' doctors.
