This man spent his entire life trying to be taken seriously and instead left the most unserious legacy of all time by a long shot. Second place ainโt even close. Itโs beautiful.
I think enough time has passed for me to say Iโm not a fan of the way Kevin Knightโs heel run has been presented to be honest. I think the heel heat that heโs received since his turn has been a home run, but him completely changing his entire demeanor towards the fans feels kind of rushed and unnatural. He went from loving the fans, to insulting them every opportunity he has overnight but I donโt think we got to see a natural progression towards that.
As most people who keep up with me know, everything leading up to his heel turn was a masterclass in my opinion and was one of the best slow burns in the company. Darby losing was an incredible catalyst to his heel turn, but I feel like we simply donโt have a solid enough motivation for him to be moving the way he is outside of that. The whole Don Callis stuff as well is very whatever to me. I think it wouldโve been better if Kevin was a heel on his own that didnโt immediately start hating the fans (for some reason?), but moreso one that thought he was justified and didnโt see himself as a โbad guyโ
This was 2024, it looked like they had a Batista/Cena thing going, and somehow both men are going to leave 2026 still not having won world titles.
But if I point out that the way that they push the younger dudes is bad I gotta hear about how itโs coming down the line, how these guys are positioned well and that Iโm just hating. Itโs straight up gaslighting lol.
Triple H booking is just him repeatedly kicking the can down the road. And in the interim, giving pushes to the most random people that nobody has asked for.
