@PaolosAttorney Generally, back to back games that are played against the same team, are always split with the wins. Thats just my observation, I could be wrong.
Just my opinion... when they say Suggs will be re-evaluated in 2 weeks, I don't think that means theres a chance he'll be back in two weeks. It's a mild bone bruise, but given his issues with the knee before, they won't be rushing him back. My expectations are 3-4 weeks.
Jalen Suggs underwent an MRI, which revealed a mild right knee bone bruise. There was no other structural damage. He will be reevaluated in two weeks.
Suggs suffered the injury during the fourth quarter of last night’s game at New York.
If AB gets inserted into the starting line up, and if it's for any length of time, we will really see what this guy is worth.
This could have huge implications for Magic.
@bryanclark17 I agree with you. AB off the bench is a HUGE boost. Tonight is a perfect example of that.
However, given our injuries AGAIN, AB will most likely be starting. If he makes a big impact, which I am expecting, I'm not sure he will want to settle for a bench roll permanently.
@bryanclark17 Yeah, which is expected. He missed 50 games last season, recovered a lot of the summer. He has not had the same summer as someone like Paolo.
But you're right, Franz + Paolo rolling is lethal.
How many points did Franz start the 4th with? 2 or something? Then proceeds to finish with 23.
Stay in the fight, stay aggressive, and eventually things will go your way.
What a game by Franz. 23/13/9
I feel for Suggs. The dude competes hard every night and to have an injury like this sucks. Hopefully it's not as bad as it looked. You always worry with non-contact injuries.
Speedy recovery Jalen 🙏
@_BumperCarz Not a fan Knicks, but surely the champs don't suck that much.
If we do make a trade, it wont be until the deadline. They'll give Sweeney time to figure it out.
I actually think the Magic match up well against the NYKs.
Obviously, not have Paolo is a blow, but I'm not counting us out tonight. Knicks are hungover from their championship, and we can exploit that.
There is a part of me that loves a gritty win.
It wasn't pretty at times, there were plenty of ups and downs, but when it came to crunch time, players battled all night.
We can build off this & can gain plenty of confidence going up to Toronto.
@_BumperCarz It easy to be critical, I get it. But its still only 2 games into the season. We go 20-5 over the next 25 & the narrative changes.
Can this roster win it all? Im doubtful.
Is the front office clueless? Seems like it.
Does this mean we can't win tonight? Nope.
@_BumperCarz Its either have hope they can win, which isnt unrealistic, or be a doomer which makes watching them no fun.
I enjoy the game. I know we have our challenges, but I just dont want to be all doom and gloom about it, all of the time.
New York Knicks are the team everyone wants to beat. Thats what happens when you win a championship.
I expect to see a better version of Magic tonight, they'll want to win this one.
