@RobCross247@DubCityCouncil Ah stop, wait til the bollard department, the sign post department, the road marking department and the M50 department have their time. No doubt none of the signs will be needed.
Ireland is the most pro-EU nation in Europe. 93% of Irish people agree that the country has benefited from being a member of the European Union, while only 5% disagree. We recognise that this country couldn't have become the success it is today without EU membership. 🇮🇪🇪🇺
@real_dublindamo Don’t forget the signs to say it’s pedestrianised, another to say cars are allowed in the morning, etc. The curb would be painted yellow and road markings (and signs) for cyclists….
@DaraghCassidy You saying enforce the laws Daragh? Thought you’d know better! Dublin would be a better place if litter laws, parking laws, etc were enforced. We can but dream!
The average Irish worker is the 9th best paid in the world according to the International Labour Organization. And that's taking into account the cost of living in Ireland and elsewhere. Employees are paid US$5,400 a month here, on average. 🇮🇪💶
@DaraghCassidy Always thought an Apple store would be great there. The more they let the spaces out to fast food outlets the less likely other types of stores will be attracted.
The media in Ireland is the 7th freest in the world. 🇮🇪 The Reporters Without Borders World Press Freedom Index rates 180 countries annually. It judges the overall climate for press freedom in Ireland as positive, with journalists able to work freely and without interference. 👏
The Irish listen to more audiobooks and read more e-books than any other European nation! 25% of Ireland's internet users bought an audiobook or e-book in a 3 month period last year. That's more than twice the EU average, and the number is growing. 🇮🇪📚🎧

@RobCross247 ….or just remove the bollards. What are the chances of a car parking there? In reality, like across the city, bollards are put down then a cycle lane comes along but the bollards remain (because that’s another team’s job to remove them) 🥴
Irish people spend less than 10% of their household expenditure on groceries. Among Europeans, only those in Ireland and Luxembourg spend so little of their income on food & non-alcoholic drinks, leaving 90% of funds available to cover everything else 🇮🇪

@Keating_Eamonn@rtenews Two years after the Task Report, 3 after the riots. Allow another couple of years to “settle into job”, more consultants, a revised watered down report and rows over funding! Meanwhile….
@danobrien20 Surely with a continued growth in population, the number of incidents should be measured as percentage against the number of journeys taken/car ownership?
