@aziiaziizam Crashed on the way back to the bus after the stage. Not good news in the fight for Ciclamimo but I think Magnier had it all wrapped up with his win yesterday

Unfortunately, @NarvaezJho was forced to abandon in the early part of stage 19 at the @giroditalia.

Yesterday, the Ecuadorean suffered a small crash on the transfer back to the bus which left him in some discomfort on the challenging terrain today.

He goes home with three stage wins in the back pocket and two stints in the ciclamino 💜

It is far from a cheating scandal. It’s no secret that motorpacing is an issue but it’s not the riders choice to have the motorbike in front.

Really didn’t think any sprinters would survive Muro di Ca' del Poggio but the short distance of it clearly played into their hands. Jasper Stuyven delivers Paul Magnier to the line with ease and makes it a hat trick. Ciclamimo battle going to Rome!

The way Afonso Eulalio has ridden and honoured the Maglia Rosa over the course of the week has been sensational. He probably knew that it’d be taken off him eventually by Jonas Vingegaard but it has been refreshing and enjoyable to see him ride in pink. Chapeau 🇵🇹🩷

Bettiol doing what Alberto Bettiol does 🇮🇹 Timed his attack perfectly on the last climb to gap Leknessund to give Astana their third stage win after Silva and Ballerini. Leknessund grabbing his second P2. Excellent P3 for Stuyven in the fractured breakaway group.

Narvaez gets his second and UAE’s third win in the Giro. Leknessund and Tjøtta rounding off the podium for Uno X mobility. Eualio surprised a few by attacking in the final before Hindley did the same forcing perhaps the smallest of time gaps. It didn’t look likely.

Without a doubt, Jonas Vingegaard completes the grand tour stage set with his maiden Giro victory. Put the gaps into the likes of Pellizzari but Felix Gall rides superbly so he’s certainly one to watch in the coming week. Euàlio loses just shy of 3 minutes.

Another sprint but it’s tainted with crashes again. Cobbles were always risky even more so in the rain. A slip from Elmar Reinders saw most of the favourites go down as well gifting Ballerini the chance. Magnier did well to recover and finish third.
