@NCBEX @ExamSoft It's 2021, and the suggestion for their software failing users is "try turning it off and then on again" - and we have to just be ok with that?
@NCBEX @ExamSoft They also sent an email recommending that you restart your computer before and between each exam. I paid $140 to use this software for ONE test, which is already stressful enough. How can such poor-performing software be continually forced on examinees?
@m_k_blurr Got a black screen during the MPT, not sure how much time I had left when it crashed, but my screen was black for ~5 minutes. It crashed during the MBE, but at least I didn't lose any work/train of thought there. Such a rip off. I can't believe I had to pay $140 for this garbage.
@NA4ELP@ExamSoft Examplify crashed during almost every section of the exam, in addition to the long delays when changing questions/opening the notes window. Can you believe they charge students $140 to use such a broken piece of software?
@BarExamTutor The GA bar quote in this article kills me. I notified them of persistent issues with Examplify, and was told there have been "very very few issues" with the software. Examsoft sent an email a couple of hours later with instructions on how to recover from crashes.. so which is it?
@BarExamTutor Examplify crashed during almost every section for me, not to mention the persistent lag when switching between questions. It is baffling that such poorly written software can be 1) so expensive to the student, and 2) allowed to fail users with impunity.
Fun fact, it costs twice as much to use the garbage @ExamSoft software for one exam, as it does to purchase a Microsoft 365 license for a year. The bar exam is such a scam.
