Got to observe/be observed by a fellow student and give/receive feedback. 'Twas very beneficial. Should be done more often.

[Luke Phillips @LukePhillipsSPT]

Trying to learn a pt's native language really helps with tx. My hardest eval has turned into my favorite pt. Croatian is pretty sweet.

[Luke Phillips @LukePhillipsSPT]

Google translate is the best! If you haven't tried it, I'd recommend it. I used the English--> Croatian and my patient loved it.

[Luke Phillips @LukePhillipsSPT]

Got a pt to go down stairs pain free for first time in years. That was nice.

[Luke Phillips @LukePhillipsSPT]

Taught Italian pt w/ shldr P proper side sleep position with arm propped up. His response: ima gonna steel all my wife's pillows. I died.

[Luke Phillips @LukePhillipsSPT]

@ShauntiKazemi it's like a leg press machine but with elastic bands as the resistance so it's easier.

[Luke Phillips @LukePhillipsSPT]

@FeiSPT what's not normal mean? Weak, unsteady, dizzy, fatigued?

[Luke Phillips @LukePhillipsSPT]

Using a shuttle to improve weight bearing confidence in patients with knee pain is my new favorite thing!

[Luke Phillips @LukePhillipsSPT]

Tomorrow I c my patient with stage 3 PD, B "frozen shldr", L LBP, & L hip pain for 3rd visit. Still tryna figure this one out. #no* #complex

[Luke Phillips @LukePhillipsSPT]

@JMcCallisterPT had a pregnant lady with burning in t spine. Treated her with STM to deep rotatores. Maybe work for u, maybe no.

[Luke Phillips @LukePhillipsSPT]

@LizzieB_SPT likes a boss. I shall use this.

[Luke Phillips @LukePhillipsSPT]

Patient w/ 24 year hx of LBP radiating into foot. Spent last 25 years in prison. This shall be fun. #largestoldmanbicepsever

[Luke Phillips @LukePhillipsSPT]

@ZuleimaSPT hypertonicity/tenderness of psoas, iliacus, or QL? Nice little MFR to those puppies could b magical.

[Luke Phillips @LukePhillipsSPT]

@SaraPetersonSPT here here! Got 2 with WAD. Pretty big difference in attitude. Definitely plays a roll in outcomes.

[Luke Phillips @LukePhillipsSPT]

Tis difficult working w/ young humans w/ knee pain. Can't get dx cuz they're too fearful/guarding during tests. Tryna calm things down.

[Luke Phillips @LukePhillipsSPT]

Finally got decent improvement with my pt. with WAD! Why? Thoracic spine work and foam roll. Won't wait so long next time.

[Luke Phillips @LukePhillipsSPT]

Ooo good lesson, @Kaguii45. I shall remember that in my future patient encounters.

[Luke Phillips @LukePhillipsSPT]

@ryantrautz hmmm, interesting

[Luke Phillips @LukePhillipsSPT]

@ryantrautz what have u done to address the muscle guarding? Is it hypertonic or is pt just fearful and actively guarding?

[Luke Phillips @LukePhillipsSPT]

Tis tough sometimes to get patients to see improvements when they happen little by little. #mustgofaster
