After @crest_baseball's 6-4 Championship W, 2028 2B/RHP @LukeRayfield_3 was named the @CamWoodBats Player of the Game.

The LH hitter has a true knack for hitting. Lots of bat speed and rotational power. He was 3 for 4 w/ 4 RBIs and in the middle of the Chargers' 3rd and 4th inning rallies.

Luke then pitched the final two innings, earning the Save; he was sitting mid 8s. Final line was 2 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 2 BB, 2 Ks

Rayfield is a must track; will be playing this summer for @Post82Baseball

Luke was 3 for 4 w/ 4 RBIs in the Chargers Championship 6-4 W over South Caldwell in the Shelby Easter Tournament. He also entered in relief in the 6th inning and threw 2 scoreless, hitless innings while allowing 2 BBs and collecting 2 Ks to hold the lead and earn the Save

At the end of the game, Luke was also named the Tournament MVP. Congratulations to Luke and the whole Chargers roster on their 2nd straight Shelby Easter Tournament

2028 MIF/RHP @LukeRayfield_3 of @crest_baseball will be giving more Varsity innings in 2026. The stuff is there to be solid. FB was 81-84, 84 mph with Spins up to 2321 w/ good IVB numbers

Spins the CB up to 2520, SL up to 2476; good shape on both. Throws a pretty hard CH with good HB, Spins of 1389-1483. Good clean finish to his deliveries; could work on improving separation

Luke had an excellent Freshmen season for Crest, earning All Region 6 Honors. Switch-hitter (more natural on the LH swing). Flashes XBH pop already. EVs between 89-92 MPH during BP. Lets the ball get deeper a little better on the LH side. But seems pretty locked in on both sides of the box.

Strong arm across the diamond (up to 85mph), needs to work on quickness overall, but tracks the grounder w/ good body control.

Coach @adammcfarland21 of Crest will be a good reference. Also playing Legion @Post82Baseball this Summer
