@marshallavfc Whilst against bottom 6 sides where we would expect to have more of the ball higher up the pitch, we play 2 up top.

Hence, I would expect to see these sort of numbers for that reason.

Stats are useful but need to be broken down. (2/2)

@marshallavfc Possibly, except naturally when facing tougher opposition - tactically any team would set up more defensively to combat opposition’s attacking threat, meaning against top 6 sides we would more often play 1 up top to bolster midfield/defensive options… (1/2)
