In Loving Memory of Stephen Hood..

We are heartbroken to share the passing of Stephen Hood, an alumnus of the RCS program. Stephen was an incredible soul — the kind of kid who brought enthusiasm, passion, and a fun, enthusiastic energy to the field every single day. His joy for the game was infectious, and being around him simply made people better and smile more.

Stephen was a true pleasure to coach. He loved to play, welcomed hard coaching, and genuinely wanted to see his teammates thrive. He competed the right way, cared deeply, and left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of sharing a field with him. The impact Stephen had on our program is evident in the outpouring of love and emotion from our staff and the entire baseball community.

The Hood family reflects everything Stephen was—selfless, kind, and always willing to give the shirts off their backs to help others. They are outstanding people, and our hearts are with them during this unimaginable time.

Stephen will always be part of the RCS family. He will be missed more than words can express, but never forgotten.

Rest easy, Stephen.

Today marks 12 days straight of weightlifting. Starting on Veterans Day of this year, I wanted to continue a tradition I started last year: 100 days straight of weight lifting and working out. Granted, I’ve modified it this year to 120. Can’t wait to see where this takes me 💪

Along with receiving an outstanding education at Bethany, Luke will play under Coach Michael Finlan & look to make an immediate impact on the Bison program!

I cannot say enough about this young man! Luke embodies everything you’d want in a player. He is an extremely hard worker on the field & in the classroom, he plays the game with a competitive fire, he is a great teammate, & always looks to put the team before himself. I have no doubt Luke will continue to succeed at the college level & beyond!
