I'm questioning where the accountability is for the saga across the club, not the action itself

The ability to front up what was wrong. All I've seen so far is a pushing of blame elsewhere (such as Solak complaining about the intern) and a lack of front-footed communication that takes control of the narrative (why didn't Parsons or someone else put out a statement as soon as possible and really take control of matters?). That isn't fair on the Southampton fans.

I think that accountability point is something we both agree on, actually

Just as an outside observer, I'd have questions about the culture at the club. One that allows such pressure to be placed on staff. One that doesn't take a front-footed and open approach to the fans through proper communication. The biggest sign of regret would be change. There's been no change at all

An interesting moment for Derby post-admin. Chances are that any investment was either going to be backed by an individual tied to a state or a private equity firm, such is the way with modern football
