@jam97290810 That's fair enough, my point wasn't about Eckert on his own and more so about a wider club culture point. Totally understand how as an outside observer it'd seem like I'm talking just about the manager here though, I can appreciate that
I'm questioning where the accountability is for the saga across the club, not the action itself
The ability to front up what was wrong. All I've seen so far is a pushing of blame elsewhere (such as Solak complaining about the intern) and a lack of front-footed communication that takes control of the narrative (why didn't Parsons or someone else put out a statement as soon as possible and really take control of matters?). That isn't fair on the Southampton fans.
I think that accountability point is something we both agree on, actually
Just as an outside observer, I'd have questions about the culture at the club. One that allows such pressure to be placed on staff. One that doesn't take a front-footed and open approach to the fans through proper communication. The biggest sign of regret would be change. There's been no change at all

Turki Al-Sheikh reportedly interested in Derby County.
Would be first huge test of independent regulator, given the boxing magnate's extensive ties to the Saudi stage, and numerous alleged abuses.

An interesting moment for Derby post-admin. Chances are that any investment was either going to be backed by an individual tied to a state or a private equity firm, such is the way with modern football
With the former, I believe it's possible to be both critical of the individual and supportive of the club...
Derby County are in talks with Saudi sports supremo Turki Alalshikh over a potential investment deal. Negotations are advanced and now with the Independent Football Regulator #dcfc https://t.co/m3DcEwDhX3

A little surprised by Elder's exit. Was excellent up until his injury, but with Murkin likely to be ahead of him, I don't doubt he's looking for game time and a longer contract
Intrigued to see if Batth stays, and whether that rules out another CB signing. Big summer ahead #dcfc #dcfcfans
