what was set up to be a career-punctuating showcase for NiJaree Canady turned out to be the elevation of Teagan Kavan into the inner circle of WCWS legends -- and she's only a junior 😳
still, salute to Canady on a spectacular four years 🫡
Megha Ganne one of four players turning pro at U.S. Open
PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – Megha Ganne, the electric Stanford star with the mega-watt smile, is now a pro.
Ganne was still in high school when she played in the final group at The Olympic Club five years ago. Now she’s days away from college graduation at Stanford and speeding toward her first tee shot as a professional in the opening round of the 81st U.S. Women’s Open at Riviera Country Club.
“Felt like I was on top of the world,” said Ganne of what it was like as a 17-year-old contending on the biggest stage in women’s golf, “but I guess it just keeps getting better.”

Here's Ganne talking about the impact of Lydia Ko, who sometimes practices out of Stanford:
I brought AOC tortillas from H-E-B.
They make people feel better after a tough night, and that's what the Spurs are going to give Knicks fans tonight.
Go Spurs go!
Athlete. A couple of weeks ago I was a scorer for her group. Rain, cold, hills, a tough walk. She got around the course like it was just a walk in the park. Impressive.
Cool moment on the putting green, this year's two major champions see each other for the first time since Aaron Rai won the PGA.
A hug from Rory McIlroy, hear from Aaron at six on what it will take to do it again this week

For the first time yesterday, I experienced the new @alamodrafthouse QR code ordering system and I can tell you it’s truly awful. Rather than making ordering food and drink more efficient, it actually adds steps to the process AND if you want to order additional items during the film you HAVE to open your phone. No, your cute reference to that irony in your How To Alamo video doesn’t negate how ridiculous this is. Please don’t cut corners with your staff and revert back to physical menus and order cards.
