@blackveron@WelBeast He’s on contract. We 100% did not just let him go for free. He was very valuable to the team, our top goal scorer, and player of the season. If he went for free you could expect absolute headloss from Brighton fans.
🔵⚪️ Spent the morning watching Fabian Hürzeler’s Brighton.
Beyond impressed, especially when considering he is the second youngest manager in Europe’s top 5 leagues.
In-depth analysis out soon.
Very, very soon.
@RSBNYIhockey@BrightonBuzzz This is subjective. We have more points under Fab’s 50 matches than RDZ and Graham. We are objectively better. We may not be reaching our potential but we are better. It may not be as pretty as RDZ, but it’s better regardless if it’s from only players rather than coaching.
@RSBNYIhockey@BrightonBuzzz Dude. You’ve been the most outspoken person against Fab for the last few months. I don’t think ur wrong on some points, but ur making it seem like DEFCON5. I’d argue the potential talent in our squad now, is better but raw. But talent under RDZ was way more developed and ready.
@bhamatt_ Big clubs deal with this too… but they have a bigger brand and have more competitions. If we want to keep all our good up-and-coming players we need to get more competitions to give players more playing time. Otherwise, they’d rather join big club or more playing time.
@bhamatt_ I think we’re in a new level. Previously, we got unknown/unproved players for £1-15M now they come with a higher price tag and prestige. Naturally those players are going to back themselves and have confidence to feel like they can make it in the 1st team. Different level now.
@UTD_Seth@OfficialBHAFC Such an entitled club (maybe just this guy). You properly expect someone to sell to you for the price you want, and hurl insults when they don’t. Class act
@ryanadsett Gonna wait until an official source comes in. But if true, I’d be amazed the club would accept for that (£95M). That’s less than caicedo, whom had a similar amount of years on his contract left. Surely, more clubs would be interested after this year - agent is probably knows this
@BrightonBubble I think at most (based on Romano’s post) it would be a loan with no buy option. MOR has said good things and has played a lot in preseason. Only compliant is he wants to play #8 spot, maybe a loan would give him that opportunity. Why would we sell this early? Hes still young
@TheBrightonBase@FabrizioRomano Has to be agent talk.. specifically the buy option part. Considering MOR had positives to say and got lots of playing time in preseason, the only realistic option I can see is the club is offering MOR to get more minutes at # 8 spot. Still so weird though.
#AskHürzeler How do you go about convincing new players to join Brighton, and what’s your approach to getting them settled and fitting into your style of play?
@TheBrightonBase@AndyNaylorBHAFC Was hoping to see him in action, but I get it. If he gets a top flight loan (and sees consistent time), it’ll be best for him. We have so many midfield options right now, game time is sparse.
Brajan Gruda‘s last 5 matches:
120 minutes (1 start, 4 subs)
- 3 Assists
- 1 Goal
- 0.88 xAG
- 0.59 xG
What a turn around for the young man. Excited to see what he can do! #UTA
@FabrizioRomano People complaining about this price tag. He’s got 3 years left on his contract. We don’t need to sell him, but if the right offer comes in we will part ways. Similar to Caicedo, happy keeping him but Chelsea made an insane offer. The price tag comes from your club’s offers
