Spoke to three GOATS of Aussie marathon running. They both reckon the marathon now holds no fear for the elite in the sport. One reckons it’s now being treated like a 10,000m race! Also, the impact of the super shoe away from race day ⬇️ 🏃

Struggling to think of a better tackle I’ve ever seen. Not a bigger tackle but a BETTER tackle. How often do you see the last man just fall off these? Also, Doueihi for origin anyone? Big running five eighth alongside Cleary or a bench option that can cover anywhere? Options 🤔
Leichhardt has seen some special days over its history but I’ve never seen it like that. It was absolutely rocking and who can blame the fans? Starved of success for so long, every win feels like a party. This could be something very special for the game this season.
From an Australian perspective, the fit again Harry Souttar was unused on the bench once more. Hopefully with two games to go he can get some minutes to prove to another Championship club his undoubted quality. Will also help his World Cup aspirations.
10 years ago Leicester won the most improbable of Premier League titles. Today they’ve been relegated to League One. Prem ⬇️ Championship ⬇️ League One in successive seasons.
Australian football needs this story right now. A genuine star could be emerging here in Mo Toure ahead of the World Cup. A humble bloke but his football is doing the talking in outrageous fashion. 8th goal in the Championship from 9 games since moving in January.
I’m not sure how many people are sleeping on this or if it’s broken through to mainstream but the level of our athletics team is actually ridiculous. Olympic medallists, people going sub 20 for 200 and sub 10 for 100. This was dreamland stuff not that long ago.
Was inevitable but while Kerkez has grown as a player, Robertson deserved far better this season. Has lost none of his run and work rate. Had earned the right to not be benched for most of what was always going to be his last campaign at the club. Sad.
