The Giants made $448mil in 2024. Their 2025 payroll actually came down to $178mil after various trades.

It’s hard to say for sure, but estimates say that an extra $100-150mil can be added as operating costs for the franchise (MiLB ops, non-roster payroll, etc).

Subtract the 2024 revenue from the 2025 payroll + operating costs and you’re still at a ~120mil surplus. Plus, the Giants hit 5-year attendance highs in 2025, so revenue is likely higher than we see (2025 revenue) figures aren’t known yet

No matter how you wanna slice it, the Giants made 9 figures this year. Their franchise is worth 4.2 billion dollars. They have a premium ballpark in a premium city with premium fans. They can afford a premium roster.
