🚨 SCOOP: Anthropic is gearing up for the public launch of a new version of Mythos, better than Mythos Preview.
A checkpoint of the model, codename Oceanus, was made available to red teamers yesterday. These programs typically begin 7 days before the wider launch, I am told.
The program has since been paused, presumably due to an individual in the program reselling it via a Chinese API proxy (as reported by @scaling01). But whether this will impact the launch target is unknown.
I had early access to Dreambeans from @GoogleLabs
Think of it like a magazine, with an editor who is trying to tailor the articles to your interests. Daily it surfaces stuff you didn't know to ask for.
Some things you'll just glance at. But I also have great stuff I've kept.
A short backstory on this one:
A small Google Labs team had an idea to make an app designed to connect you with what matters, without the endless scroll. "Hope scrolling, not doom scrolling" was the hallway pitch. "Go for it."
And today, that little experiment is rolling out.
Meet Dreambeans, a daily dose of inspiration, brewed fresh for you. We're excited to see what you think!
@lizzij_me@GoogleLabs You guys killed it! It definitely is hard to get right, but the combo of information provided, the UI/UX, and the feeling that it isn't creepy while still using a lot of data is so telling of a well designed and functioning product! 👏👏 Thank you and the team!
#DreamBeans 💭🫘 by @GoogleLabs is the most tasteful generative AI experience I've used (Thanks for early access!)
It's a genuinely new way to discover things that are truly relevant to you: news, restaurants, vinyls, and even highly specific things - outdoor furniture covers
@neelGDM In a sense, talking, to me, is the easiest way to collaborate and if AI can do the same it'll be incredibly useful. Obviously chat boxes are helpful in scenarios where you can't speak out loud or there are other issues like needing time to "think" before speaking
@neelGDM The ability to talk and see something change in realtime and stop it midway through is the closest thing to an actual personal assistant I've ever experienced
@neelGDM Honestly not a great analogy. But I really think, for example, that the use of voice in Stitch is one of the best UI/UX experiences I've ever had
@neelGDM Then after I've visualized it provide feedback to Gemini for it to iterate again. At the moment, prompting the AI via live voice to generate an image is a step in the right direction, but I can't see it in the interface immediately.
@neelGDM So the way I think about it is that all of the capabilities of an agent should be usable by voice, similar to how chat works. If I ask for a video, document, song, etc to be created I should be able to do it by voice and edit it in real time (or have a good UI to visualize it)
@neelGDM I think there are a lot of possibilities that my mind has opened up to after using Stitch voice mode. I think collaborated workspace work would be an interesting idea (similar to the Google docs update coming)
@neelGDM Also "screen following" would be nice. If I could use voice mode on my phone and say, let's continue this conversation on my computer. And it brings all the context with it
