Simi Valley's Pierson Ohl is expected to make his Major League debut tonight as the Twins starting pitcher against Boston. The 25-year-old Grace grad is 5-2 with a 2.17 ERA across three levels this season. He has a 2.82 ERA in his first seven appearances for Triple-A St. Paul.
There are two Grace School alums making big league starts today. Easton Lucas has been recalled by the first-place Blue Jays to make the first start of a doubleheader against Baltimore. The TO native went 3-2 in five starts earlier this year.
