@njivana The problem with pushing for a move like this,is burning bridges. You don't know how things will go when you join the club you are fighting for: a long-term injury, bad spells, fitting in with your teammates, the team chemistry, the coach's favor and tactics, etc.
@FabrizioRomano There’s just no way Pep Guardiola would stand by and watch one of his great artists go to Mourinho’s @realmadrid. He must have been pulling strings in the background for @FCBarcelona . To be fair, Barça needed him more. Perfect fit.
I’m in love with this sentence:
“Every pattern in your life repeats until you learn the lesson. The moment you choose differently, the loop ends and growth begins.”
The biggest cheese banks in Italy store 300,000+ wheels of Parmesan.
Dairy farmers use cheese as collateral and get loans up to 80% of market value. At ~$1,000 per wheel, that’s $200m+ in loans (banks seize and sell cheese if farmer can’t pay back).
Best part: banks use automated machines that brush and turn the cheese wheels everyday to keep them fresh.

@Rainmaker1973 When it comes to storytelling and production, the British are unmatched. It's crazy that they haven't hosted a world cup in a really long time.
As I was saying, this standoff between UEFA and FIFA is not about the game. This is personal and political. Credit to UEFA for furthering their interests. The rest of the world must see this for what it is, and play a smarter role to safeguard the game in all countries.
Radio will never die. It’s one of the few media that has outlasted every prediction of its demise. Television was supposed to kill it. Then the internet. Then streaming. Then podcasts. Each time, radio adapted instead of disappearing.
@TomBrady80 While it wasn't the desired result, reaching the final as a defending champion with the type of squad Argentina has, it was a great sporting achievement. They were also one of two chances away from winning it.
