Earlier today, during the Presidential Wealth Creation tour in Kigezi, I updated district leaders on the impact of the Emyooga program in the sub-region.

So far, we’ve established 270 SACCOs, 6,555 Parish-Based Associations, and registered 125,904 members across six districts.

With UGX 12.38 billion in seed capital, communities are accessing financial resources, creating jobs, and improving livelihoods—evident in the UGX 2.5 billion saved so far.
