🚨Roy Keane on the controversial penalty awarded to Liverpool after Lewis Hall’s challenge on Victor Muñoz:

🗣️ Roy Keane: “For me, that is not a penalty. I’m sorry, but Newcastle have been completely robbed here. Their knees collide that’s what happens in a football match when two players are competing for the ball. What exactly was Lewis Hall supposed to do? Stand still and allow the attacker to run through and score?

“There’s no obvious push, no deliberate trip, no reckless challenge. Their knees simply clatter together and Victor Munoz goes down. We’ve seen contact like that a thousand times without a penalty being given. I don’t understand how VAR looks at that and decides Newcastle should be punished.

“Newcastle had this game won. They played well enough to take all three points, defended for their lives and deserved the victory. Then a decision like this changes everything and hands Liverpool a point.

“That’s not the way you want a big Premier League match decided. Newcastle have been robbed of a win, while Liverpool have been handed a lifeline by the officials.”

🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: FIFA have opened the door to implementing Arsene Wenger's new offside rule.

A player will only be judged offside if they have completely passed the last defender, meaning decisions will no longer be based on marginal body parts.

This proposed rule change could be introduced into football as early as next season.
