In 1971, when India was at war with Pakistan, the US sent Task Force 74, led by the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise, a nuclear-powered, nuclear-capable carrier and the world’s largest at the time, to support Pakistan.

The Soviet Union responded instantly. Moscow dispatched nuclear-armed submarines and cruisers from Vladivostok to shadow and block the US fleet. The Soviet ships tailed the American carrier group and made it clear that any interference with India would meet resistance. The mighty US task force, sent to bully a young India, sat helplessly in the Bay of Bengal and then quietly withdrew.

This is what Russia means to us: a time-tested, all-weather ally that stood by us in our darkest hour. So spare us the morality lectures. We will not stop engaging with them because of a war triggered by Western expansionist interests.

The same West that sanctions Russia is the West that increased imports of Russian LNG, whose companies still operate in Russia through loopholes, and whose nuclear plants run on Russian uranium, all after the Ukraine war began.

If meeting Putin equals supporting war crimes, then why didn’t you shout when Trump hosted him, or when China welcomed him at SCO, attended by 30+ countries? Why is India the only target? Because the outrage isn’t moral; it’s racist.

We don't support wars but will protect our interests, honour our allies, and do what every sovereign nation does. Deal with it.

Supersonic missiles travel between Mach 1 (speed of sound) to Mach 5, while hypersonic ones reach Mach 5 or higher.

India has already tested its first hypersonic missile few months back, and it's expected to be operational soon. India is also developing BrahMos-II, expected to have a speed of Mach 8.

Now imagine this: Pakistan couldn't intercept BrahMos, which is supersonic at Mach 2.8. What happens if they're faced with our hypersonic missile, nearly twice/thrice as fast? By the time Bangladesh finishes saying “we’re monitoring the situation,” Pakistan’s center of gravity will be a smoking crater.

Congress's newfound arrogance is due to their illusion that people have found new faith and respect for their leader.

The reality is far from it. BJP's average performance was not because voters found hope in Rahul Gandhi, but because of their internal mismanagement, overconfidence, inability to combat fake news about "changing the constitution" and "ending reservations," inability to manage caste issues, and the outrageous promises of freebies by the opposition.

If BJP can regroup, fix these issues, and proactively work on the concerns their core voters have been raising, they can very well again cross 300 seats in 2029 on their own.

Until they do it, they'll have to bear this drama and cacophony in parliament.
