There is NO entity or possession
It really keeps bothering me that people keep saying she’s possessed or has an entity inside her.
She does not.
Curry himself, the person who made the movie said there is not.
The wish itself is cursed. The wish itself is cursed because he’s taking away someone’s autonomy. If he wished for money, success etc he’d be fine. He wished to take someone’s autonomy. What we see is a violent psychotic break in someone literally split in two down to the core of their mental.
And watching the movie that’s clear, she’s fighting herself, everything she does is combatting herself due to Bears wish to take her autonomy.(He’s a literal rapist btw idk how that is flying over peoples heads either.)
The start of the wish was the creepiest scene for me
The way Nikki seems to be calibrating and learning how to be “human”… The way she thought her cat died instead of Bear.. And when she says “The cat, yeah... I'm so sorry... yeah..” She’s so creepy and robotic. And the way she was acting so unpredictable like laughing and smiling one second and then acting sad and scared. She behaves like a child by crossing her arms and then acts silly like she’s keeping a secret.
It was also the first time we saw Nikki snap back in and say “this is so weird” and then smiled deviously…It really set the tone for the rest of the movie. I thought to myself “Oh yeah..this is gonna be insane”
Unrelated, It's actually crazy realizing that The Boys have characters wearing their super suits for majority of the time compared to other Superhero franchises
OBSESSION crossed the $150M mark at the global box office.
This coming weekend, it’ll become the first film in @FocusFeatures history to ever hit $200M worldwide.
I think Prime Kimiko is actually the most dangerous person in The Boys. while Everyone talks and explain themselves, She just watches. And I find that really scary
You have to survive a 24-hour manhunt against Homelander. Who are you letting lead the rescue mission?
🔘 Billy Butcher on Temp V
🔘 Soldier Boy (fully charged)
🔘 Hughie with a death wish
🔘 A-Train (if he actually cares)
In the Comics, The Boys do not fight Supes as normal humans. From the very beginning, Butcher and his entire team regularly inject themselves with a stabilized, lower dose of Compound V. It grants them permanent superhuman strength, durability, and a massive power boost just to level the playing field. Comic Butcher can comfortably trade punches with actual superheroes without blinking.
In the Show, The Boys are fiercely anti-Supe and rely strictly on blackmail, heavy weaponry, and tactical planning. It isn't until much later in the series that Temp V (V24) is introduced, and Butcher's choice to use it is framed as a massive moral failure and a desperate, self-destructive addiction.
Why did Bear react like this during the party???
After Nikki smashes the bottle on her face, everyone reacts, EXCEPT Bear. Bear seems almost disappointed?? I don't understand why he wasn't concerned or even angry with Nikki. Nothing but stoicism
@jdstone33 Bear's not a hero. He's portrayed as weak, self-absorbed, and in love with an idea of Nikki rather than the real person. He doesn't get angry at the entity because deep down he knows he's responsible. Instead of empathy or panic, he focuses on the mess
@cloneposter Of course, He's already starting to see the truth: By this point, Bear has witnessed enough red flags (weird behaviour, unnatural intensity, moments where Nikki recoils from him in horror).
