This is truly heartbreaking. 💔🇳🇬

It is deeply saddening to witness the reality that many of our children now live in fear, with some resorting to traditional means of protection before going to school because they no longer feel safe. No child should have to grow up under such circumstances. Education should be a place of learning, growth, and security, not fear and uncertainty. 📚🕊️

The primary responsibility of any government is to protect the lives and welfare of its citizens, especially its children, who represent the future of the nation. 👧🏽👦🏽✨ It is painful to see innocent young people bearing the burden of insecurity when they should be focused on their dreams, studies, and aspirations.

This is not the Nigeria we know, love, and believe in. 🇳🇬 We are a resilient people, but resilience should not be mistaken for acceptance of a situation that continues to endanger lives and rob children of their right to a safe childhood.

I respectfully call on our leaders and all relevant authorities to take proactive and decisive action. 🏛️⚖️ The time for promises has passed; what is needed now is meaningful action that restores safety, confidence, and hope. These children deserve to return to their homes, schools, and communities without fear.

Our children are owed that much and more. 🙏🏽❤️
