@HardmLea @KofmanMichael You need destroy the enemies capability to fly. The Ukrainian Military looks like dispersed a lot of their attack aircraft and left the junk on the airfields that couldn’t fly. After the heavy bombardment they came out to fight.

@KofmanMichael Also maybe you should read the AAR and white paper on the Crimea Conflict and look at the lessons learned by the Ukrainian Military.

@KofmanMichael I mean NATO has sent advisors and trainers to the Ukraine since after the 2014 Annexation of Crimea. Recently the Ukrainian Army conducted Operation Trident Juncture a NATO training exercise. The way they fight is different from the Crimea in 2014

@KofmanMichael What you mean is they chose the most complex course of action, attacking on multiple fronts. Extending lines of communication and logistics. The Russian military has always had flaws in logistics.

@KofmanMichael The Russian Military can’t do what they did in Syria and Grozny. You want to fight the military, not the populace so you can’t make the populace mad. No military wants to fight an “entire” country.

@KofmanMichael I don’t think they want to fight as a BTG because the Ukrainians have capabilities to destroy an armored column. They don’t own air superiority yet. It looks like a good defense in depth.
