Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick hints at when to expect the GTA 6 marketing to begin:
“So the next few weeks I don’t think it’ll be summertime yet, but when it’s summertime, Rockstar expects to start marketing GTA 6.”
Summer starts on June 21st.

Don’t take this guy seriously. He constantly posts clickbait and fake “inside information” for attention.
Now he’s claiming his “sources” confirmed Trailer 3 drops tomorrow, even though he said the exact same thing on Friday. At this point, it’s just recycled hype with no credibility.
The Best Buy pre-orders debacle took a lot of attention away from tomorrow. I understand that a lot of you are feeling quite pessimistic about GTA 6 right now (understandably so), but there’s actually quite a strong case for Trailer 3.
— It’s exactly 6 months before launch.
— It’s the final Tuesday before Take-Two’s earnings call.
— Rockstar still has Trailer 2 pinned to their social media, which still displays May 26th — the launch date prior to the delay. They might want to update this to reflect the actual release date of November 19th.
As always, nothing is guaranteed. I do think that it’s worth keeping an eye on though, and I personally will be keeping heavy tabs on Rockstar’s activity tomorrow.
Apparently a creator received a Best Buy affiliate email mentioning a “GTA 6 Pre Order (Physical Game)” campaign running from May 18–21. 👀
Could this mean retailers are preparing for pre-orders?
