@PierrePoilievre We do need a new PM. There is a lot on the table and alot at stake. You will have to actually help us if you win. Can you do that? Will you do that?
@krassenstein They would have to care and accept some responsibility. There are issues like lack of access to mental health help, lack of education and so on….yes people have to stand up, but if there is nothing to help support you while you are trying then what’s the point?
@krassenstein Porter. Her work in financial protection is important. I do like seeing people being held accountable, it’s also important.
I’m not American tho, and my country has its own set of problems. I like her ethics, and what she stands for. I’d like to see that in my own leadership.
@PierrePoilievre I’m sick of politicians and well, politics all together. Every single one of you, red, blue and orange just make things worse. Sit down.
@AM980News It has to make sense right?! We can’t keep this pace, affordable housing for middle class in safe neighbourhoods is a good idea, the rich will always have more. It’s time for things to make sense, affordable housing in safe neighbourhoods. Please.
@PierrePoilievre No one will forgive you if we feel manipulated and lied to.
Housing crisis, also mean’s AFFORDABLE housing crisis. I would like to live in a decent house that won’t sink me financially and live happily with my kids there. Food, hydro all of it, it has to come down or wages up.
As a bedside nurse who works in different ERs and ICUs across Ontario, I can assure you that the healthcare system is worse than ever. We've had to shut down beds in cardiac ICUs because we had no nurses. Hallway nursing has worsened thanks to Doug, who'd rather underspend $21.3 billion in healthcare despite people dying. Doug Ford's track record is corruption, privatization, and immeasurable suffering #onpoli
@fordnation It is tragic. And my heart breaks for this family.
You should be ashamed for using this for political gain. You are not empathetic. Stop and resign.
@cenkuygur I don’t get why people are making this a thing. Just live your lives, let her live hers. She’s not doing anything wrong by living her life how she sees fit. It’s none of our business.
I was asked on @CP24 tonight what I was hoping to hear from our new Housing Minister in his announcement tomorrow.
It’s simple:
1. We are sorry we have been distracted with removing land from the Greenbelt protections. We won’t further distract from the importance of building housing in our Province by reviewing the Greenbelt lands further, as the Premier proposed today. Instead all Greenbelt protections will be restored.
2. We are going to now focus on implementing our Housing Affordability Taskforce recommendations to drive housing supply and affordable housing. Our goal is to build housing in areas with existing infrastructure: on transit, in neighbourhoods, near parks and schools. We have a blueprint to do this - we will follow the blueprint so Ontarians know what we are doing, and when.
3. We will not compromise good governance in order to get housing built. We believe we can do both: we can be ethical and law abiding and drive new housing supply. This is our commitment to the Province of Ontario.
#GreenbeltScandal no more, I say.
