Additional advice, go to comfort fiction rehab. Read some Tamora Pierce, or try some of the mid-late Terry Pratchett books, like the Tiffany Aching series.
Rehabilitate yourself with new comfort characters. I know it's sad, but you can do it. Get some audiobooks or something
