@JBTHEPLUG1 No hate. Knew a guy who smoked all the time, when it was illegal. For several months the supply dried up and his personality changed. He was engaged, fun, and could have a conversation without zoning out. I think it alters the mind and some don't want to deal with that.
@garryowen1866@nickkokonas Customers did object, as did vendors and the military departments. But the main reason has been corporate reluctance to run an unprofitable enterprise. Without the subsidy there are multiple locations, particularly overseas, that will never be profitable.
@gothburz I was a government ethics officer for years. Whenever we advised someone that their proposed action would create a statutory or regulatory conflict, we were accused of questioning their integrity. A few attempted prosecutions went nowhere. The system is meaningless.
@Her_Nonymous_D I have never forgotten being abused by a customer who wanted a cash refund even though the receipt said no cash refunds. One of the owners gave the refund and said the customer obviously had money and would be sending her friends to shop so we had to be nice.
@tharlsglazer I think longer hair bothers him for some reason, and since we're headed to playoffs, he will have to let it grow. So this is an anticipatory cut.
@StarcasticR No issues with Sony TV that I got last year after my really old "smart" TV would not update to install apps. I did cast from a Samsung tablet to the old Samsung TV and it worked really well.
@SawyerMerritt Everyone I know who has at least one EV, also keeps a gas powered vehicle for road trips. They all have enough money to do that. The average person doesn't. This is like debating which champagne tastes better, when the majority are drinking beer, or wine with screw tops.
