@CatfishSeven I'm always shocked at the cocktail prices in the US. +15$ to add Vodka?? Here most often there isn't even a price difference between Cocktails and Mocktails (which I find quite frustrating but that's beside the point) and I expected it to be 15$ total not +15 🫪

@OstfreeskeDeern Chemos sind eine große Belastung und man muss die Risiken abwägen. Krebsfrei heißt aber leider auch nur, dass gerade kein Krebs in der Bildgebung sichtbar ist, mutierte Zellen können trotzdem noch im Körper unterwegs sein und Metastasen bilden. Das soll die Chemo verhindern.

@minfuzz One part of my job that really sucks is that I can't take any days off for concerts, shows, birthdays or whatever. All days off are pre planned and I have no control over them. I'd love to just have like 2-3 days per year to use for stuff like that.

@KesslerSchreibt Versuche echt es zu vermeiden. Trotzdem passiert es. Ärgere mich dann furchtbar. Letztes Jahr hab ich mir die Schultern mit 50+ eingecremt, unterm Schirm in 3 Stunden verbrannt. Damit hab ich wirklich nicht gerechnet. Es passiert so schnell, obwohl ich mich nicht extra sonne.

@WhyLarryIsReal They could be trying to keep it vague to stop people from blaming the catering team or something like that or just because people don't really like to talk about vomiting and diarrhea.

@WhyLarryIsReal of course food poisoning/stomach bugs can happen anywhere and to everyone regardless of that and they spread rather quickly through people working together but usually are relatively short lived, so they can be rather sure the show on the 24th shouldn't be in danger.

@DKlassenmutti Gibt es teilweise tatsächlich! Mein Hausarzt nutzt es nicht für die reguläre Sprechstunde, aber für die tägliche Infektionssprechstunde (der einzigen Zeit zu der man mit typischen Infektionssymptomen hin darf) und in meiner Zahnchirurgiepraxis gab es das auch.

@CEKTOP @DE_Compounder Habe letztes Jahr mit 26 mein erstes eigenes Auto gekauft und hätte auch nie gedacht, dass das ein Neuwagen wird. Aber gebrauchte Kleinwagen sind so dermaßen teuer, dass es sich echt nicht gelohnt hat. 11.000€ für ein 10 Jahre altes Auto mit 100.000 km vs. 16.000€ Neuwagen.

@TolentinoTeach In German we capitalize the start of a sentence and all nouns and names. It's often a nightmare to read and mark papers. Last year I stumbled upon a line which made me want to throw the paper against the wall. The only noun wasn't capitalized. Everything else was.

@temberaubend Das war immer so ein Hit für uns in der Schule und wenn ich das heute in meinem Unterricht mache, musste ich schon Filme abbrechen, weil die Hälfte es nicht schafft gesittet einen Film länger als 5 Minuten zu schauen.

@sugadisco Don't like this at all. Nice not having to travel much for him, but for us?? One place in the US, same for me with one in continental Europe. I'm lucky, Amsterdam is only 2 hours from me, but still, with my job I could only make Saturday work and tickets for that will be hell

Yeah, it's pretty cool that my country even gets a listening party for album releases most of the time, some basically never get one. But why do they always have to be in the capital 500km away? We've got so many other big cities in other parts of Germany.
