@atomicxlee @dovaplz All you're doing here is giving these terrible people the attention they're aiming for. They don't hateraid you to prove a point. They do it solely for the attention and to make you freak out, which they clearly succeed at.
@atomicxlee @dovaplz I'm not saying ignoring racism is the way to go. All I'm saying is something as simple as putting your chat on 30m follower mode when a hateraid happens literally shuts it down right away. If you choose not to use those tools, that's a you-problem.
@Bigbbezme @LiyahABG@dovaplz@Twitch I agree that if you don't use the means you have to counteract hateraids, it looks like a 'massive issue'. Don't get me wrong, its bad that its happening, but there's plenty of things the streamer itself can do to shut it down right away when it happens.
@Crush3rGaming @XxEVILxINSIDExX @Dirtyswabby @kittikat1113@LiyahABG@dovaplz@Twitch It's not that difficult. Once you get hateraided put your chat in follower-only mode for a few minutes while your mods take care of banning them. In the case they also follow-bot you, advance it to sub-only mode for the short duration.
@pixl_peach @LiyahABG@dovaplz@Twitch Instead they decide to make the people famous on Twitter by giving them the attention they are doing the hateraids for in the first place.
@pixl_peach @LiyahABG@dovaplz@Twitch This is not a matter of defending Twitch. Yes, they are bad people that deserve permabans and yes, Twitch should take action against them. My point is that streamers dont even use the tools we have to prevent hateraids from having any effect. 1/2
@LiyahABG@dovaplz@Twitch Congratulations. You just figured out being a streamer is not just pressing "Start Stream" and play your game...its also managing your channel. That's why you appoint mods to do that for you. Meanwhile you simply put your chat on follower-mode, or sub-mode if necessary.
@LiyahABG@dovaplz@Twitch So don't allow raids from people you don't follow... Its literally a switch in your creator dashboard. Streamers need to stop playing the victim card and realize the solutions are already there.
