Mazda. The name Mazda originates from Ahura Mazda, the supreme deity in the Zoroastrian fire worship tradition of Persia. When Mazda first produced its first tricycle motorcycle (Mazda-go) in 1931, the company founder, Jujiro Matsuda, decided to use this name.
