@casseytoi 100% so many scenes made my skin crawl - as absurd as it may seem it strikes close to reality in many ways re patriarchy, misogyny, and living while female. Almost stopped during episode 1 but she's a compelling protagonist and I desperately want to see her win!

@casseytoi I recently watched it and had to rant to my sister to release all of the feelings it evoked..! It was nuanced and heartbreaking. I haven't read the book so I'm not sure of comparison but I hope you appreciate the adaptation (strange to say enjoy given content).
