Wanted to share a minor milestone for me and the boy (he needs a nickname of some sort). This weekend marks six months since we started dating.

If you know me and been following me for awhile you know I've worked on myself in therapy to become ready for a relationship. After that, I was in the dating trenches for a long time. It was not fun. At times, I definitely felt like I was defective and I was doomed to be alone. But, I kept going. And now, it's been six months.

I try not to get too excited about the future (plus, it tends to trigger my anxious attachment) but I wanted to share a positive update. I know most of y'all are waiting for scripts, but some of you have been cheerleading for me for a long time. I just wanted to say thank you. So much.

And guess how we're celebrating? Renaissance faire. Time to bust out the tiaras.
