@RickySkyTrash@Yandere_Husband Blame me for playing the game lol? By the way, I’m not one of those players. I quit for 11 years and only came back as an iron so I could avoid the mtx. By the way, this update screws me over too as an iron.
@Yandere_Husband Believe me, dropping this update as it is will lead to the core part of the player base feeling alienated and dying off. It’s jagex saying they don’t care about your time investment in the game.
@Yandere_Husband I created an iron a few years ago and have over 300 days of play time to max the account and get comp and get a decent pvm setup. That used zero mtx and yet won’t be included in group content in this new mode. There’s no way I’m doing that again. It completely disrespects my time
@Jebrim@Iced_IMP@Iced_IMP you can probably stop here. This comment alone invalidates his entire opinion if this what he thinks about the average player
@Jebrim@Iced_IMP Why are we discussing who has done the most grinding? I’m sure I can name people who aren’t skippers with ridiculous hours but it has little to do with reignite imo.
@Jebrim@Iced_IMP This discussion is unhinged. Someone spending a 152h week playing rs is not something relevant to deciding how a game evolves for the average player. We can talk about prestige systems or time limited competitions for these players but that’s not relevant to this topic
@Jebrim@Iced_IMP Most people who play rs3 these days don’t care much about skilling. That’s second monitor stuff they do when they’re not playing active content. Those players have spent massive amounts of hours doing things not impacted by mtx.
@Jebrim It’s not anymore though. Most of the skills in RS3 can be trained to 200m with very reasonable time investment on an iron account. I play an iron and I barely think about skilling with respect to my account progression. RS3 is a different game to the one you played to 1b agility
@Jebrim You can’t pay to win most of the game. You can pay to win 5.8b but there’s no skipping the rest of the grind. I feel like you’re too focussed on skilling and you’re missing the point that people stuck with and played this game constantly for 20 years.
@masatoalexander I had a very similar opinion until I tried it.
I can’t powerlift like I used to. I’m a lot more injury prone in general. Been enjoying learning the Olympic lifts and generally having fun pushing the cardiovascular end of things while learning new skills.
