At least once a year I need to say this: 1) The only person I stop what I’m doing to answer my phone for is my wife 2) My world doesn’t revolve around instantly responding to your messages ESPECIALLY your music as I AM NOT YOUR PERSONAL A&R. 3) Maybe your tune is just trash 🤷🏻♂️

This. Exactly this. When I was 17 It was Tom & Jerry, music box, jazz thing, bukem ect. The “music for kids” argument holds no weight for me. It’s called the crowd has bad taste, being rewarded by scared djs feeding it so they don’t lose their “spot”.
Browsing videos for raves it’s all very high energy, hands in the air, big reactions etc. I realise at 40 it’s not going to be my thing, but not sure it was at 20 either! Can’t work out if the thing is just being field by the immediacy of modern life, rather than being an escape
Wait, actual JUNGLE at a “Jungle” Rave?
What sorcery is this??

@elhornet Rider Remix. The pause to let the b line breath before the snare comes in on the second drop is one of the most iconic edits ever done. “Grooverider Jeep Mix” is universal code for “Buy This”

Yo, real heads, what was the name of the hardcore tune q project sampled the main riff of this tune from? Driving me nuts all week trying to remember. Also probably should add Safety Clause to my #ForgottenRiddims thread. I used to HAMMER that tune. https://t.co/a6DSKP50L3
