Are you interested in the neurobiology of cognitive functions? We're a new systems neuroscience lab at Charité Berlin using state-of-the art technology to understand how experiences shape neural activity. Join us! See https://t.co/tlJhuF3ScN for more info. Please RT!
10 yrs ago, when my GCaMP6 paper just came online, Eva Pastalkova came explaining how cool it would be to image theta population activity in real-time. I was embarrassed to tell her that even with 6f, it was 10-100x too slow. Now we are getting there, 0.5 millisecond at a time!
Our #chemigenetic#fluorescent calcium indicator WHaloCaMP is now out on #bioRxiv : https://t.co/vPGSCY55wU WHaloCaMP can be used to report on neuronal activity in flies, zebrafish and mice. WHaloCaMP is great for #multiplexedimaging. A 🧵:
@SamCentanni@wakeforestmed Any reason for the 7-year limit, esp. after the last three years of pandemic chaos?
I have some cool data, which I hope will eventually lead into a TT job. It's disappointing that you don't want to hear it just because personal and scientific factors made it longer to get there.
@drkjjeffery @GeorgeDragoi2@Neuro_Physics@JohnKubie For what it's worth, each of you in this thread are amazing and your impact in the field is irrefutable.
