The sad thing about love languages is that you could genuinely love someone with your entire heart, but they will never feel it. They may know it, but never feel it, because they way you express your love isn’t how they receive love.

Morality is easy to preach when you’re not directly affected. For many, it’s a matter of survival, not theory. Any response that ignores that lived reality misses the point. In scarcity, increased competition for opportunity inevitably intensifies tensions.
The middle-class have to be honest about their blind spot regarding this immigration conversation. You don’t see a problem because of privilege. You’re not competing with illegal immigrations for work, informal trading or healthcare in spaces with limited opportunity & resources.
