Wrestling rocks! An SIUE coach missed his graduation today to coach at Pan Ams, but someone brought him his diploma and cap and gown. Pam Ams decided to give him a proper celebration during the break! @coralvillepanam@GlobalWresOrder@WINWrestlingMag
Fort Osage (@FortOWrestling) freshman Jauzlyean Gray won a Class 2 state title at 135 pounds last season, and she did it while wrestling with a torn labrum.
Even with the injury limiting some of her best moves, Gray went 49-2 and dominated the state tournament, outscoring her opponents by a combined margin that left little doubt about who the best wrestler on the mat was.
Now recovered from surgery, she's already looking ahead with a big goal: four state championships and an undefeated season.
