Messi has his achievements, but for me, Ronaldo’s greatness goes beyond natural ability. He proved himself in England, Spain, Italy and on the international stage, adapting to different managers, teammates and systems while continuing to deliver.
He completely transformed his game with age — from an explosive winger into one of football’s greatest goalscorers — and still maintained an incredible level of consistency.
His Champions League performances, mentality, longevity and ability to deliver under pressure are a huge part of why I rate him higher.
So when people say Messi is automatically the undisputed GOAT, I simply disagree.
Different opinions, but for me, CR7 is the GOAT. 👑🐐🇵🇹
