At the 25th anniversary memorial, expect New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani to speak extensively about the victims as if it was a natural disaster.

9/11 was not a hurricane.
It was not an earthquake.
It was not a random tragedy.

Nearly 3,000 people were deliberately murdered by al-Qaeda terrorists acting from a specific extremist Islamist worldview, with a stated ideology, intent and target.

Remembering the victims matters.

But remembrance without confronting who killed them, why they killed them and what ideology motivated them risks turning 9/11 into an inexplicable natural disaster.

You cannot learn the lessons of 9/11 if you erase the reason 9/11 happened.

Hosting Hilal on the anniversary of 9/11 for “counternarrative work” is an insult to the 2,977 whose lives were stolen, their family members and loved ones, the emergency responders, and the American servicemembers who have lost their lives protecting the US from terror.

There was a time when you could see the core structure of the twin towers....

In the early 1970s, New Yorkers witnessed a surreal sight: the skeletal cores of the World Trade Center towers piercing the skyline before their outer walls were completed. The image shows the “core structure” — the massive steel spine that housed elevators, stairwells, and utilities — bathed in the glow of a setting sun.

Each tower’s core was a fortress of 47 steel columns, built to bear much of the building’s vertical load. Around it, a perimeter of 59 steel columns on each face created the towers’ distinctive facade. For a brief window during construction, the cores rose high above the city, exposed like the ribs of a colossal machine.

Within just a few months, those skeletal frames would vanish behind aluminum cladding and glass, transforming into the iconic Twin Towers. But for those who saw them in this unfinished state, it was a rare glimpse of the engineering heart of what would become two of the most recognizable buildings in the world.

The Charlotte NC high school that painted over a student's tribute to Charlie Kirk, called the police on her, and then publicly branded the 16-year-old girl a VANDAL in front of her entire school...

…was forced to pay her $95,000!!!!!!

Her name is Gabby Stout, she was a junior at Ardrey Kell High School.

Days after Charlie Kirk was assass*nated, she got PERMISSION from the front office to paint the school's spirit rock, a tradition kids have used for years.

She painted a heart. An American flag. "Freedom 1776." And "Live Like Kirk ... John 11:25."

Within HOURS, the school painted over it.

Then the principal emailed the ENTIRE school calling it VANDALISM, claiming she broke the code of conduct, and announcing they had called LAW ENFORCEMENT to open a criminal investigation.

They pulled this teenage girl out of class again and again and then MADE HER WRITE A CONFESSION!!!!

They demanded her PHONE so they could search her call logs.

For painting a rock. With permission.

So her family sued. And they WON.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools in June learned it has to pay her $95,000, publicly clear her name, and admit in writing she did NOTHING wrong.

But not only that... they were forced to adopt a brand new student free speech policy because of her.

CNN cuts off commercials and begins broadcasting the fire at the World Trade Center.

Among the millions of viewers watching the channel is United Airlines CEO Jim Goodwin. He already knows the plane belonged to another company — American Airlines.

But at that moment he is told:

“Boss, we’ve lost contact with one of our planes.”

It is Flight 175, which had deviated from its course, made a complete U-turn, and headed towards New York.
