There is always balance that is needed to be found in capitalism, and unions are a balance.

We negotiate union contracts always under the assumption that compromise is necessary to maintain business. Unions can’t exist without it.

@JDavis763 @StarTribune Saying certain industries can’t unionize because of their size and poor economic standards is giving a free pass for employers to do shitty things like wage theft. Workers deserve the chance to collectively unify anywhere they see injustices in the workplace.

The staff at Kim’s formed a community and brought the needs of workers to the forefront in our neighborhood. They reminded us that restaurants are not just a name, but are the service who are proud of their work. This loss is hard because the staff always treated me so well.
