Multilingual parents and caregivers: please don’t stop speaking your home language(s) with your child. You are providing your child with an excellent model of language with every song you sing, every story you read or tell, and every discussion you have at home. #WRDSBMLL
Before an assessment, ask yourself, why? Why do I want this information; what do I intend to do with it? The question is not "should I grade it" but rather, "what purpose does it serve?" Once you are clear on purpose (FA/SA), you'll know what to do. #edutwitter#ATAssessment#K12

IMO Elem teachers obsession with teaching the Oregon Trail from the colonizer pov for WEEKS in game format & teaching about indigenous people's experiences seperately via dry ass textbook for a day or two, is problematic af. How do we enact change as colleagues?
BIPOC students and early-career people: if you intend to stand on your principles and disrupt the status quo in these ivory towers, please expect *regular* opposition (even from people who are "nice"). This opposition is *not* going to stop you though, only you can do that.
I am fairly concerned. A technical point - I am concerned about them being reinfected as opposed to re-exposed. I don’t want them to be re-exposed, but I am more concerned about reinfections. Here’s why:
