For a one-shot it's good and tells a very complete story in just 67 pages by focusing solely on the two main characters.

The premise has potential for more, and it seems this is what Horikoshi wants to do next, time will tell if it's going to live up to expectations or not.

That was never MHA narrative. Deku never overcame his trauma. What Deku did was not let his trauma define him as a person. He didn't given into resentment and tried to always see the bright side of his situation. Deku always ran forward to the future even if to a imagined future

I started this little silly account because I wanted to talk about a silly little show about heroes, because I deeply care about it, and for years I feel very frustrated and even bad for reading it since it was the punching bag everywhere and people gave their backs on it.

So the shift it has had in the past 2 years is something that has closed that wound that I always had for a long time.

No more content, no more weekly drama. The people, including myself, have already moved on, and there are no MHA content creators or people wanting to talk about it nowadays. The only things left are rehashed discourse from three years ago and fanarts.

And in a sense, I want it that way. But I'd be lying if I said I don't miss this series.
