Proud is an understatement. Loved watching my friend and colleague @nat_ved speak about her journey, and what inspired her to pursue a career in Electrophysiology. Left feeling even more inspired and grateful to be surrounded by such an amazing cohort of women in medicine!
No difference in one year outcomes in DCD vs DBD transplant recipients. Feeling lucky to have trained at @vumccardsfit for HF and Transplant with this incredible group of people, and to have learned from this experience during fellowship!
Pleased to publish the largest single-center study on "Outcomes of Heart Transplant Donation After Circulatory Death" utilizing the Vanderbilt University Heart Transplant Database. No difference in one-year outcomes compared to DBD recipients!
