If you're at a Public Interest Entity in Kenya, this matters: @ICPAK_Kenya just launched the IFRS S1 & S2 Readiness Report. Most organisations want to comply โ few are equipped to yet. 385 surveyed, score 1.51/4.
@Lybraconsult can help you close that gap.

Happy Madaraka Day to all Kenyans.
As Kenya marks the 63rd Madaraka Day, we reflect on 63 years since internal self-rule and on this yearโs theme: Education, Skills and the Future.
The future must be prepared for, governed well, and built to last.

4/ At Lybra, we continue to support organisations through this transition โ from readiness assessments and reporting process reviews to IFRS S1 & S2 alignment and decision-useful disclosures.

1/ Kenyaโs sustainability disclosure journey is moving from ambition to readiness.
At CMA Kenyaโs Corporate Governance & ESG Workshop, Lybra facilitated a practical discussion on IFRS S1 & S2 adoption.๐งต

3/ A key takeaway: credible sustainability reporting does not begin at publication.
It starts with board oversight, clear ownership of sustainability data, internal controls, reporting systems and assurance readiness.
Exciting news!๐ Lybra Consulting & TakaTakaNiMali have signed an MoU to drive #ESG integration across Kenya & beyond.

๐๐พThe land is satellite-verified.
๐๐พThe funding comes from biodiversity credits.
๐๐พThe result? Lions roam. Cattle stay safe. Communities earn.
When conservation pays, coexistence wins.
Would you preserve nature if it paid you back?#LybraConsults
What if lions could pay rent?
South of Nairobi National Park, 250+ Maasai landowners are doing just that getting paid ~$5 per acre annually to keep migration corridors open for wildlife.

23% of Africaโs GDP depends on nature, but nature-related risks are rising fast, threatening financial stability.
To build resilience, WWF-Kenya and @KenyaBankers brought together leaders from banking, insurance, and manufacturing to build capacity on the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD). This framework helps institutions manage nature-related risks and make nature-positive decisions, a big step forward for sustainable finance.
This momentum is a step forward and a show of commitment towards considering nature a strategic priority for economies, people, and nature.

We concluded the final day of the TNFD training with a detailed focus on scenario analysis led by Anne Katelesi, followed by an insightful nature-related stress test of five African banking systems presented by Dorothy Maseke of FSD Africa.
Takeaway: Nature risk presents financial risks, but also strategic opportunities. With the right tools and partnerships, institutions can lead the shift toward a nature-positive economy. #TNFD#Sustainability
On Day 2, participants shifted from awareness to action, engaging with the LEAP (Locate-Evaluate, Assess-Prepare) approach, TNFDโs core methodology for assessing nature-related issues across operations and value chains. @KenyaBankers@WWF_Kenya#TNFD#Sustainability
Lybraโs commitment in enhancing nature-positive transition particularly in Kenya, overall contributing to the Global Biodiversity Framework of halting and reversing nature loss by 2030. #Sustainability
