@Doodlegenics So relatable , feels like reading a part of my story and how I came on the idea to come up with Lycantia . Very nice to see how it has evolved for you brother !
as the founder of an NFT / SAAS brand in WEB3, i've had a burning question for months...
i've seen founders and builders flop on this one thing over and over again:
how do you sell something in WEB3 without coming across as a grifter?
i hosted a space to help me answer that question.
here's what i learned:
๐ซ don't force it
don't force anything on anyone. it never has and never will work. if someone is curious about what you have to offer, they will reach out to you.
๐ tell a story
stories create strong bonds. tell a relevant story about what brought you to build your thing.
๐ give it away for free
prioritize building trust by giving a f*ckton of value before asking for a single thing in return.
๐ง understand your people
directly ask for critical feedback on how you or your product can improve.
๐ paint a picture of the future
show what kind of benefit it will give to people in the future. don't talk about your features.
๐ฅ๏ธ respect WEB2 tactics
boring things like SEO, PR, and discoverability are lacking in WEB3. implement them and you'll be further ahead.
โจ give good experiences
a smoother onboarding experience = more adoption and returning fans.
๐ underpromise
be transparent with what you offer so you can easily exceed expectations.
overall, it comes down to good experiences.
if you can consistently deliver good experiences to your users, customers, readers, or listeners - you'll build trust.
what WEB3 sales tips do you have?
@itsjshep The bear market showed us who stands where and who only supports during the good times.Eventually we will get rewarded for staying consistent through all this โ
