❝.. It's no way to live, but it's a way to survive.❞
@NecromancyRose --fate utterly sealed.
A shout that rang throughout the area as he could barely muster up the strength to fight against it.
Something. He needs.. something..
. . .
*Clink!*
One audio indicator of a pin being pulled. Did it go noticed?
@NecromancyRose --gunslingers eyes widened as he saw the knife pointed at his abdomen..
“.. I hope you rot in h—!!!!”
He stopped at his felt the steel run into his abdomen.
And there, he knew.
The only thing she'd hear from him now was the scream of a damned man. With what seemed like his--
@NecromancyRose --couldn't fight the numbing agent. His fingers soon gave way, relinquishing the bladed weapon to her.
.. It was already trickling into his body. His body was already heavy. He was crumbling to it.
And yet, he fights it. A silent plea for his body to not give out on him yet.
@NecromancyRose “--look like a joke..—”
He flattered his opponent. Not that it would get him anywhere.
In response to her query, he'd only offer a silent, judgemental stare, before a firm response.
“.. No.”
He exerted as she tugged the knife away from him his grip. Despite being strong, he--
"Try it some day."
An implied challenge as the Lycanroc sat down, with a click of his tongue.
".. Living. Still got miles left in me. Business is rough, but I have enough on my plate keep me busy."
"If I let you out alive that is, heh."
It was a firm, yet just respectful grip from both parties. It'd been far too long since the two grizzled veterans had a friendly chat.
"So what is it that brings you out here at this time of year?"
".. Yeah.—"
He dismissed. Yuichiro had no interest in pursuing that topic.
But as Azure continued, the Lycanroc raised a brow as he folded his arms, growing skeptical of this badger by the minute.
"That depends if I /can/ help you."
An ultimatum issued by the--
The badger got the most bewildered, and judgemental stare by the wolf. The grizzled man wasn't expecting poetry.
".. You could have just said that.
.. It's.. 'something' meeting you Azure. Can I help you?"
The Lycanroc didn't even offer his name.
“The mind… It’s a funny thing isn’t it?
How limited control you have over it, how easy it is to forever forget about things…
How easy it is to forget faces, events, and…”
Blink, blink.
“Uh… Sorry about that. I’m Azure.”
"I believe that anyone that comes for my life set very unrealistic expectations for an outcome."
And that's not arrogance. That's a culmination of years of life expierence, and mistakes.
Regardless, the Lycanroc shakes Sceadeau's paw.
"One I'd be telling. That's for sure."
"Myself or some foreigner after your life. Perhaps I could be both?"
A sly glare, pausing just a few steps away.
"...that would certainly be a wild story if that were the case, wouldn't it?"
Sceadeau let out a chuckle as he dropped his guard enough to offer his paw to shake.
"I'm not that reactionary."
The Lycanroc sarcastically responded, as he leaned against his motorcycle.
"If anything, I get harder with age. But believe me, the only man who I know who greets me in a tongue I can't understand?
It'd be you."
The one-armed jackal emerged from the shadows of the trees.
"...I doubt anyone anymore would know the tongue of my ancestors, even my kin.
You know, I expected you to draw your weapon on me. Have you gone soft, old friend?"

A heavy exhale escaped the Lycanroc's lungs, his wounded body was barely holding up. Even on vehicle, he was barely able to find his way to the nearest medical practioner he could find.
Or one that would atleast be up for the challenge of--
--treating him.
The Lycanroc slung himself off his motorcycle as he looked around the area.
"This.. this should be..—"
A groan. Couldn't even finish musing aloud.
It didn't matter. What mattered was just seeing if there was any sort of place he could get treated before he--
